Uganda Golf Club (UGC) course, Kitante is set for a facelift after securing sh200m.
The money will cater for a complete refurbishment of the club house and the weekly Tusker Malt Lager Club Nights.
UGC sealed the deal with Uganda Breweries under its Tusker Malt Lager brand at the course on Wednesday.
East African Breweries Limited (EABL) sales director Andrew Kilonzo, UGC trustee Martin Aliker and Uganda Golf Union president Amos Nzeyi signed the deal.
Work on the club house, due to start soon will take two months. On completion, it will have ultra-modern facilities.
The Tusker Malt Lager Club Nights will ensure that golfers share moments together in a modified environment according to EABL finance director David Bagenda.
The official said that the offer is part of their contribution to the development of golf.
"As a business entity, we are also committed to our customers and always look out for opportunities to enhance their experiences,” Bagenda said.
UGC and UGU officials saluted the firm for its gesture.
