Saleh Backs Museveni

By Geoffrey Kamali MAJOR General Salim Saleh on Tuesday asked residents of Wampewo village in Wakiso district to vote for President Yoweri Museveni in the coming presidential elections. He promised to re-introduce a loan fund through Citizens' Concerned, his non-governmental organisation. Represented by Lt. Annet Mwesigwa at Wampewo playgrounds, Saleh said the fund had been suspended because it was abused. This is the first time Saleh openly campaigns for Museveni. Ends
