UPDF Netball Club secured a hard-fought 41-35 victory over Busia Greater Lions in today's intense Netball Uganda National Women's Super League match at Hamz Stadium.
The Uganda Peoples' Defence Forces (UPDF) Netball Club had to dig deep to secure maximum points against a relentless Busia Greater Lions side.

Playing under sunny skies with occasional cloud cover, Busia put up a highly spirited fight, matching the army side's physical intensity throughout all four quarters.
Despite Busia's tactical resilience, UPDF possessed just enough attacking depth to thwart an upset and keep their league ambitions firmly on track.

The turning point rested on the clinical execution of UPDF's frontline. Team captain and goal shooter Kevin Aber spearheaded the offence with flawless shooting under heavy defensive pressure.
Aber's stellar baseline positioning was complemented beautifully by goal attack Possy Omanya, whose explosive movement and creative feeds unpicked the Busia backline.

Together, the tandem found their peak form in the decisive late surges, providing the necessary scoring cushion to put the game out of Busia's reach.
