Kisadha and Mwami set for second straight final at Stanbic Entebbe Matchplay
The 2024 finalists, still seeking their first title in the event, will now face the duo of Vincent Katutsi and Sam Kacungira, who cruised past Michael Monne and Ronald Pulle with a dominant 5&4 victory.

Tony Kisadha and Richard Mwami will contest the Stanbic Entebbe Matchplay Challenge championship for the second consecutive year after defeating Brian Manyindo and Mark Musinguzi on the second hole of sudden death in Saturday's semifinals at Entebbe Club.
The 2024 finalists, still seeking their first title in the event, will now face the duo of Vincent Katutsi and Sam Kacungira, who cruised past Michael Monne and Ronald Pulle with a dominant 5&4 victory.
The losing pairs, Manyindo/Musinguzi and Monne/Pulle, will battle for third place in the final, scheduled for next month, and received consolation hampers from Uganda Airlines, CFAO, and UBL.
Kacungira, who has partnered with Katutsi for over five years, described their semifinal as more comfortable than their quarterfinal clash against 2025 finalists Henry Nsubuga and Picole Lukyamuzi, which they won 2-up.

"The semis were actually easier for us than the quarterfinals because we stopped them on hole 14. We were 4-up, teeing off at hole-5 and we crossed the front nine when we were 5-up," Kacungira said. "We are just going to practice now and hope for the best because our opponents in the final are not easy, but we are going to give it our best; our chemistry is strong."
In the subsidiary event, which featured 173 competitors, Paul Habyarimana emerged as the day's top performer with 38 stableford points, earning a trophy, a Johnnie Walker Gold Reserve bottle, Uganda Airlines hampers, and a Stanbic Bank gift. The handicap-3 player edged William Esuma by a single point.
Emma Tayebwa led men's Group A with 41 points, ahead of J.P. Namoma on 40, while Henry Luwemba Kasule topped Group B with 42 points, beating Charles Kabunga on count-back. In the ladies' division, Evelyn Atukunda claimed top honors with 37 points, followed by Berna Musanabera on 33, while Maxi Byenkya (39 points) and Esther Aganyira (34) led ladies' Group A. Byenkya, alongside Herbert Olowo, as well as the pairing of Herbert Olowo and Aaron Ecel, completed the podium with nearest and longest drive prizes.
