Centenary Bank expressed a stellar performance of the season, finishing top with 877 points in the Annual Bankers Sports Gala and elevating from position 4 last year to win the overall accolade.
This was the total of both the indoor games held last month at Lugogo Indoor Arena and the outdoor events held on Sunday.
They successfully defended tug-of-war and netball, winning the women's athletics competition and registering several podium finishes, including badminton, volleyball, tennis, and male athletics, among others.
Equity Bank finished second overall after excelling in the CEO's golf and walking events and attaining podium finishes in darts and netball, among others, while perennial overall winner Bank of Uganda finished third.

BOU, who are also the games regulators, won in chess, darts, and badminton, and also attained a podium finish in pool.
Standard Chartered was the most improved team after regaining the football title for the first time in 10 years, while I&M Bank retained its basketball crown.
Bank of Uganda Governor Michael Atingi-Ego has hailed the importance of the annual Bankers Sports Gala, saying the event promotes competition, teamwork, togetherness, and a winning spirit among players from the banking sector.
Atingi-Ego said a shared desire to succeed could contribute to achieving Uganda's long-term economic ambitions.
"If we have the desire and one common objective to win, we can achieve the $500b economy by 2040, and it can only be achieved through the attitude of winning. I congratulate the teams, winners, participants, organizers, and partners for the event," said Atingi-Ego.
He was the chief guest at the climax of the outdoor games of the 2026 Bankers Sports Gala at the Kyambogo University grounds on Sunday.
His deputy, Augustus Nuwagaba, hailed the games for promoting wellness, teamwork, collaboration, and leadership development among banking professionals.
The outdoor program featured football, netball, tennis, athletics, sack races, tug of war, swimming, bank managers' golf, and basketball.
The overall awards are scheduled for November 20, according to the organizers.
