Nurses, midwives allowances rise as finance releases sh5.6 trillion

President Yoweri Museveni pledged to increase lunch allowances for medical workers from sh2,000 to sh15,000 while officiating at the International Day of Midwives and Nurses in Kitgum district in 2018.
