Family demands answers over girl’s missing uterus

A pelvic ultrasound scan conducted on July 24, this year indicated that the uterus and ovaries were not visualised. Mugume is appealing to the Government to help his daughter obtain specialised medical care. He also wants his daughter compensated, saying the removal of her uterus has left her unable to have children in future.

Mugume says when he reached the hospital, he found his daughter in a critical condition. She was unconscious and had been isolated.
