That pit of problems is deep, but not bottomless. You will get out of it.
Jeremiah 38:6
So they took Jeremiah and put him into the cistern of Malkijah, the king's son, which was in the courtyard of the guard. They lowered Jeremiah by ropes into the cistern; it had no water in it, only mud, and Jeremiah sank down into the mud.
🤷♀️Have you ever felt like you're stuck in a pit with no way out? Maybe it's a difficult situation, a painful memory, or a challenging season. But I want you to know that even in the darkest of pits, there is hope.
The pit Jeremiah was thrown into was empty, except for the mud. And that's often where we find ourselves - stuck in the mud of our circumstances. But here's the thing: the pit may be deep, but it's not bottomless. And with God's help, we can climb out.
🙏 PRAYER 🙏
Almighty God, thank You for giving us hope even when we are seemingly fallen and stuck in a pit. We pray that You will never forsake us. May Your presence be with us even in the darkest places.
We believe and trust that You will send us help, sometimes in unexpected ways. We know we are not alone in the pit, and we are not without hope. You are with us, and You will help us climb out. May we never give up, hold onto hope, and know that You will get us out alive. In Jesus' name, Amen.
