TWENTY-SECOND SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

Reading 1 - Jer 20:7-9; You duped me Lord, I became a laughingstock. Your word is like fire burning in my heart, I cannot hold it
-Responsorial Psalm: Ps 63:2, 3-4, 5-6, 8-9; R/. My soul is thirsting for you, O Lord my God.

-Reading 2: Rom 12:1-2; Offer your bodies as living sacrifice. Do not conform to this age, be transformed by renewal of mind.

-Gospel Acclamation: Eph 1:17-18; Alleluia, alleluia. Father of glory give you spirit of wisdom, that you may know the hope of your call.

-Gospel: Mt 16:21-27; Jesus foretells his Passion. Peter rebukes him: "Get behind me Satan." Whoever wishes to save his life will lose it.
