Singer Spice Diana (Hajarah Namukwaya) has taken aim at women who body-shame fellow women, questioning why anyone would mock another woman’s appearance when ageing, changing bodies and health challenges are part of life.

The singer urged women to support and uplift one another instead of turning each other’s imperfections into public entertainment, adding a pointed reminder that nobody is perfect.

Speaking on television, Spice Diana said it was unfortunate to see a woman constantly criticising another woman, especially when we already face several challenges in our lives.

Her comments come after a recent TikTok live session, where Prima Kardash took a swipe at Spice Diana over her sudden weight gain.

“Makes me wonder how that woman was raised because as women we go through a lot with our bodies changing with age and health problems, so it’s unfortunate to see her put another woman down, yet when you look at her, she isn’t perfect either,” she said.

The singer suggested that women should support and uplift one another rather than focus on each other’s imperfections.

Spice Diana also opened up about the end of her friendship with Prima, saying she now thanks God that their paths separated. In her view, some people leaving your life is not a tragedy but a blessing in disguise.

“I actually thank God our friendship ended because some people leave you, and it’s for the best,” she said

Addressing the criticism she continues to receive, Spice Diana maintained that she does not deliberately seek conflict with others, suggesting that some people create problems with her because of their own feelings and perceptions.

“I don’t have issues with people, but it’s usually on them and how they feel that they can’t hide it and end up making up issues with me, but they reach a time and realise it wasn’t worth it fighting me,” she fumed.

However, Prima, who recently body-shamed Lydia Jazmine, in her defence, said no musician is above social media banter. “We shall talk about every musician. No one is above the law. If we can talk about Sheebah (Karungi), who are you? “She responded.
