Bad Black has announced that she will hold her wedding in 2031. The wedding, which had earlier been scheduled to take place on February 14, 2026 (Valentine’s Day), was abruptly cancelled.
Last year in September, socialite Bad Black announced she would wed her lover Asha Panda, aka Slim Daddy, on Valentine’s Day.
Soon after the announcement, Bad Black’s friend, Abryanz (Brian Ahumuza), who coordinated the wedding launch, later told Bukedde TV that friends of the couple had fundraised up to sh80m for the wedding.
There was even a kukyala ceremony in December 2025.
Fast forward, the bride-to-be has postponed the wedding by five years, citing lack of money and dating time.
Bad Black says the postponement is due to a financial crisis she is facing, explaining that she does not have enough money to hold the wedding she desires.
“My wedding will be a classy one in Paris with only a few in attendance. I want to take Slim Daddy on a boat cruise for our honeymoon,” she added.
Bad Black said this time she will facilitate everything to do with her wedding and there will be no fundraising. “I also do not want to stress my Asha with footing bills,” she said. “Asha got me when I am almost getting into the evening of my best years, so I have to impress rather than stress him,” she said.
“I had hurried to marry Asha. I want us to first make 13 years (of dating) before the wedding,” she said.
