Mpologoma (lion); are you a lioness?
(Laughs) Yes, I am a lioness in music and not other things! In 2001, I was so small and fans used to laugh at the contradiction. But today I am sure the impression is right because I am physically and musically more powerful.
Doesn’t it scare away men?
No. It instead attracts them. Naturally, men like challenges; they are inquisitive; they always want to check out that Mpologoma-woman!
Who is this ‘Big daddy’ you always sing about?
Every woman has her ‘Big daddy.’ It is not about size; it is a pet-name you give to someone you love so much. I sang it for those in love.
Who is your ‘Big daddy’?
I don’t have one. I put everything on halt because I disagreed with my ex. I will not mention him, but I hope Mr. Right will come at a right time. I am not in a hurry because the world is not ending today or tomorrow.
But you artistes are too busy for love opportunities.
Ha! How can you fail to get time for someone you love?
In fact, when anyone begins to give excuses that they are too busy, it means their love has expired.

No. I always preach true love and, in true love, there should not be cheating. It is about freedom. In true love there should be no chains or strings attached.

Love! Even if you have money you cannot buy it. And it is always scarce. And it cannot be shared.

Physical appearance disorganizes me; tall and handsome men are killers. Even if he has no money, my heart will melt. Actually, money has never been my worry. I cannot go with an ugly man just because he has money. No!
Who makes the best husband? Artistes or businessmen.
I think teachers. Most teachers are successful in marriage because of their lifestyles.
