KCCA FC defender Enock Walusimbi has expressed satisfaction with his smooth integration into the Lugogo-based club, following his move from URA FC in August.

The 25-year-old, who signed a two-year contract with KCCA, credits the team’s unity and supportive environment for his swift adaptation.

“There’s hard work and competition here, but we’re a family—and that’s very important,” Walusimbi said. “Whether someone has played or not, there’s love and motivation from teammates and coaches alike.”

Despite the typical challenges that come with switching clubs, Walusimbi has already secured a spot in KCCA’s starting lineup. He attributes his comfort to the familiar faces and warm reception he received upon arrival.

“When I joined, I found several players who were already my friends, which made it easy to settle in,” he added.

Walusimbi brings a wealth of experience to KCCA, having captained Express FC to the 2020 Uganda Premier League title. He also spent time playing in Scotland, gaining valuable international exposure.

KCCA has enjoyed a strong start to the 2025–2026 Uganda Premier League season, winning three of their first five matches. With 11 points, the club currently sits atop the league standings, signaling a promising campaign ahead.
