Victoria University will be the team to displace on match day-2 as the National Bridge League (NBridge1) heads to Cavendish University on Saturday.
Victoria took an early lead on match-day one after they amassed 38.09 Victory Points (VPS) at the International University of East Africa (IUEA) Kansanga Campus to set the pace ahead of defending champions Ndejje Mavericks, who posted 29.69 VPS.
Victoria fielded Simon Wanjusi, Doreen Nyanjura, John Bosco Atugonza, and Daniel Magezi Lutwama, while Ndejje was represented by Andrew Sebuufu, Reagan Mangwe, Alex Lubandi, and Joseph Genza. Kampala Bridge Club-2 are third, having collected 22.83 VPS, while Kyambogo managed 22.78.
In the second tier, Ndejje Mavericks-2, who have Dedan Mukiibi, Ignatius Bainomugisha, Vivian Nanyonga, and Justine Moni, are in the lead on 33.18 victory points, ahead of the IUIU Aces, who are banking on Asiya Namujjasi, Catrina Mbabazi, Aliza Fatuma, Husnah Nalubega, and Sudati Nagawa. Kampala University, Kyambogo, and Kampala International University are third, fourth, and fifth, respectively, in the standings.
