The City Oilers are on a season-high four-game winning streak.

Beat the JT Jaguars today, and the defending champions would move to 12 wins, tied with the three teams above them in the standings.

With three more games to go after today, the Oilers have a real chance of finishing in second position. Imagine that!

The Oilers have endured their worst regular season in 11 seasons, losing seven games in the process.

But with the return of Mer Maker, the rounding into form of Fayed Bbaale, and the growth in chemistry, the Oilers look like they have hit their stride.

By contrast, the Jaguars, who began the season with an 8-1 record, have won just two of their last nine.

They come into this game on a three-game losing streak.

“The league obviously has gotten better because teams have made transfers,” Jaguars point guard Ian Lubwama told New Vision Sports.
“But we have just lost our ethic of playing. We have lost that hunger that we had at the start of the season. We are a good defensive team. The only issue right now is just to score the basketball. In all our games, we hold teams to low scores, like 60 or 65, but we just don't score.”
