Dominating Ugandan handball is top of the agenda for Uganda People's Defence Force (UPDF) coach George Isabirye.
Isabirye made the revelation after his side beat fierce rivals Police 48-30 in the final of the Handball Champions League at Old Kampala Arena on Saturday.
"Winning today is great because we have defended our trophy, which we won last year. But it is not over. This win has just inspired us. My focus is defending the league, and it begins today," Isabirye said.

"We are not going to rest. With the league kicking off next weekend, we have to start serious training. Yes, we won, but there are areas we have to improve on before the league campaign starts," he added.
Isabirye is confident that with the addition of new players to experienced ones like Francis Ongom, Juma Anguzu, and Felix Mukunzi, his side is capable of winning the league again.
He added that the season has just started, and next on the menu are the league title and the regional crown.

In the women's category, Police beat Prisons 32-24 to retain the trophy they won last year.
Police coach Aziz Yakub was excited to have defended the trophy but noted that it is too early to celebrate because the league is starting soon.
Uganda Handball Federation Vice President in charge of Technical matters, Willy Mayanja, observed that this year's tournament was a success because all teams turned up.
The Champions League is contested by the top four finishers in both the women's and men's leagues.
