GAYAZA - Having a positive attitude, coupled with hard work, made the girls excel.
Since the learners are always in competition with each other, it made them pay more attention to their studies, thus attaining higher marks.
As the department, we often reminded the girls that history is compulsory and that even if they applied for science-based programmes, they would never get them without a distinction in the subject.
They, therefore, had to work hard.
