URA clears export of Chinese stock of timber products

Over 10 Chinese companies have appealed to President Yoweri to help them solve a timber export impasse. This comes after they were given a three-month period to clear the timber stock they accumulated before the presidential directive on the ban on the export of timber was executed in July 2023.
