Masaka city-based Uganda People's Defence Forces (UPDF) Armoured Division commander Maj. Gen. Dues Sande Kasijagirwa has died.
Sources indicate that Sande succumbed to heart-related complications, but New Vision Online could not independently verify these claims.
Sande, who hails from Kabale district, developed a heart complication at Jalia City petrol station near Mpigi town in Mpigi district on the night of February 10, 2026, before he was rushed to Mpigi Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
