Traffic alert: Kampala–Jinja road night works start Friday
A notice from the Ministry of Works and Transport states that, "repairs commence tonight, 11:00 p.m. at Namawojjolo to fix worn-out sections and improve driving conditions along the highway.

Urgent road works on the Kampala-Jinja highway are going to be conducted at night for seven days beginning tonight, on Friday, 24.
A notice from the Ministry of Works and Transport states that, "repairs commence tonight, 11:00 p.m. at Namawojjolo to fix worn-out sections and improve driving conditions along the highway.
More works are coming up at Mbalala, Mabira & Mbikko–Njeru next week.
The operations will lead to motor traffic delays during your night travel, according to the Ministry notice.
Alternative routes:
Motorists have been advised to use: Mukono–Katosi–Njeru or Gayaza–Kalagi–Bukolooto–Njeru and vice versa as alternatives.
