President Yoweri Museveni is in Kenya for the Africa We Build Summit 2026.
Hosted in Nairobi with the support of the Government of Kenya, the Summit is running under the theme “Infrastructure as the Engine of Industrialisation”.
The Summit brings together leaders from the public and private sectors to discuss practical ways of moving Africa’s infrastructure from priority to implementation.
" I look forward to engaging with fellow leaders, investors, and partners on strengthening collaboration to accelerate infrastructure development for Africa’s socio-economic transformation," reads a post on President Museveni's social site X.
Featuring Kenya's President William Samoei Ruto as keynote speaker, the summit will also include presentations by other heads of state, ministers, and Africa's top investors.
President Yoweri Museveni, on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on Thursday, April 23, was received by Musalia Mudavadi, the Prime Cabinet Secretary of Kenya.
Museveni later joined his counterpart, Williams Ruto, for the Africa We Build Summit 2026: Infrastructure as the Engine of Industrialisation.
Hosted by the Africa Finance Corporation, in partnership with the African Union Commission and the Government of Kenya, the Summit brings together Heads of State, ministers, financiers and industry leaders for two days of high-level dialogue and deal-making focused on driving Africa’s industrial growth.
