Minister Odongo in Türkiye for Antalya Diplomacy Forum

During the 5th edition of ADF2026, Odongo will deliver a keynote address during a panel discussion on “Investing in Africa’s Future: Strategy, Scale and Competitiveness.”

On the sidelines of ADF2026, Gen. Odongo will also hold high-level bilateral engagements, including meeting the Turkish Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan.

ANTALYA - Foreign affairs minister Gen. Odongo Jeje Abubaker is scheduled to address the 5th edition of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF2026) taking place in Antalya, Türkiye.

Under the theme "Mapping Tomorrow, Managing Uncertainties," the three-day Forum on 17–19 April is taking place at the NEST Congress and Exhibition Centre.

During the 5th edition of ADF2026, Odongo will deliver a keynote address during a panel discussion on  “Investing in Africa’s Future: Strategy, Scale and Competitiveness.”

On the sidelines of ADF2026, Gen. Odongo will also hold high-level bilateral engagements, including meeting the Turkish Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan.

A release from the ministry states that during the meeting, the Minister will seek to fortify Uganda's diplomatic footprint and explore avenues for mutually beneficial cooperation with Turkiye and other participating countries. 

Gen. Odongo's delegation to the conference includes Uganda’s Ambassador to Türkiye, Nusura Tiperu, and other senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

The minister's office states that the ADF2026 provides a pivotal platform for international stakeholders to convene, deliberate, and chart a course for a more resilient and harmonious global order.

Uganda's participation underscores its unwavering dedication to global diplomacy and collaborative problem-solving.
