Ex Minister for Karamoja Affairs, Agnes Nandutu convicted

The court found she knowingly received and retained government property diverted from a public program.

Former State Minister for Karamoja Affairs, Agnes Nandutu, has been convicted by the Anti-Corruption Court for diverting 2,000 iron sheets meant for vulnerable communities in Karamoja.

The court found she knowingly received and retained government property diverted from a public program.

Her bail has been cancelled forthwith. She was promptly remanded to Luzira Prison until Friday (April 10) for sentencing.
