Debt hampering Kampala infrastructural growth — Lukwago

Lukwago says that much as there has been a record increase in budgetary allocations, especially towards Kampala roads, much of it is being directed towards payment of contractors whom he said the city owes a lot of funds.

Lukwago, who is the head of the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) political wing, has summoned the Special Forces Command Construction Regiment (SFCCR) assistant project manager Lt. Eng. Kikomeko Kigongo to explain delayed works. (New Vision/Files)
