Busia approves the creation of Lumino district
After the district executive rejected the idea saying the Government banned the creation of new administrative units, Frank Wasumba, the councillor representing Lunyo sub-county, presented a private members bill.

Busia District Council has passed a resolution to create Lumino district, 27 years after Busia was curved from Tororo district.
If approved by Government, Lumino district will
