Perhaps the reason he was separated from you for a little while was that you might have him back forever.

🤷‍♀️ What God has planned to be yours will never be taken away from you.
It may go round and round, but it will eventually return to you.

Almighty God, thank You for all that You have put away in store for us. We believe that at Your time, You will release it back to us. May Your grace give us the patience to wait upon You. Amen
