Televangelist Pastor Benny Hinn has arrived in Uganda ahead of what organisers are calling a miracle crusade at the Miracle Centre Cathedral grounds in Rubaga, Kampala city.
He was received at Entebbe International Airport by his main host and founder of the Rubaga-based Miracle Centre Cathedral, Pastor Robert Kayanja, a few minutes after 3:00pm, local time on June 26, 2025.
Earlier, Benny Hinn made a personal invitation to his partners, friends and people across the world to come to Uganda and attend what he termed a powerful crusade.
He said he has a powerful word to share, "as the presence of God will be so rich."
Benny Hinn will be the main preacher in a miracle crusade starting tomorrow (Friday, June 27) evening and Saturday, followed by a leaders' conference on Sunday at the Miracle Centre Cathedral grounds in Rubaga.
Benny Hinn, 72, said, "This is my invitation, especially for my partners and friends from all around the world, for you to join me for a powerful crusade in Uganda, Kampala, in person."
"I am excited for you to join me for anointed worship, ministry and miracles. I have a powerful word to share as the presence of God will be so rich. Come expecting wonderful things from our precious Lord Jesus, and be sure to invite your loved ones and friends," he said in a post on his Benny Hinn Ministries website.
The crusade has been categorised as a Miracle Healing Service organised by his ministry in conjunction with Senior Pastor Robert Kayanja and his wife, Pastor Jessica Kayanja. The service starts at 7:00pm but doors will be open from 5:00pm.
Benny Hinn is an Israel-born Palestinian-American-Canadian televangelist, known for his famous miracle crusades and faith-healing summits across big cities around the world.
Dr Marie Doorn, the Benny Hinn event director, arrived in Uganda days earlier and teamed up with Pastor Kayanja and the Miracle Centre teams to mobilise people to turn up in big numbers for the crusades.
The Very Very Important Persons will use Gate One and are expected to park at Pope Paul Memorial Hotel in Ndeeba while the ordinary will access Lubiri Palace using the Ndeeba Ring road.
The pastors will use Gate 2 while the rest will access the venue using Gate 4 as the main entrance and exit in Gate 3. Guests were expected to arrive from Europe, China, US and several others from Africa including Zimbabwe, Lusaka in Zambia, among others.
Pastor Kayanja remarked that Benny Hinn was coming to Uganda for the third time and the last crusade was organized at Mandela Stadium in Namboole, but assured everyone that he had created enough space at the Miracle Cathedral grounds to accommodate everyone.
"He is supposed to bring healing to the people in the spirit, soul and mind and help people prosper because that is what Africa needs today," said Kayanja.
