📸 63rd annual session of Asian-African Legal Consultation Organisation (AALCO) kicks off

Earlier today (Monday, September 8, 2025), Speaker of Parliament, Anita Annet Among, opened day one of the 63rd annual session of the Asian-African Legal Consultation Organisation (AALCO). She represented President Yoweri Museveni. The five-day event is taking place at Speke Resort Munyonyo.

The meeting was attended by Speaker of Parliament Anita Among, Attorney General Kiryowa Kiwanuka, Justice Minister Norbert Mao, AALCO Secretary-General Dr Kamalinne Pinitpuvadol (from the Kingdom of Thailand), Songchai Chaipatiyut (representing AALCO's current president, Suphanvasa Chotikajan Tang) and Foreign Affairs Minister, Gen. Jeje Odongo Abubakher.
