KAMPALA - Long before he became a familiar face behind celebrity interviews and trending entertainment content, Sean Ibrahim Sengendo, popularly known as Seanstylez Xclusive, was navigating Kampala's downtown streets in search of the perfect outfit for his clients.

Today, he is among Uganda's fastest-rising digital content creators and entertainment bloggers, but his journey began as a mobile stylist, sourcing fashionable clothing for some of the country's biggest entertainers, television personalities and business figures.

"I used to move around downtown looking for the best outfits for celebrities," Sean recalls.

Over the years, he styled a number of well-known personalities, including Faridah Nakazibwe, Kalole Kasita, Crysto Panda, Winnie Nwagi and Sandra Lian, gradually building relationships within Uganda's entertainment industry long before stepping in front of the camera himself.

His transition into digital content creation would prove to be the turning point.

Sean says his breakthrough came after creating the viral "Salongo Bakube" sound, a trend that spread widely across social media and introduced his brand to thousands of new followers.

"That trend changed my life in the media sector," he says.

The viral success opened doors to opportunities he had never imagined. From interviewing President Yoweri Museveni to sitting down with music legend Dr Jose Chameleone, Sean quickly established himself as one of the country's emerging entertainment personalities.

His growing influence has also seen him earn international assignments. One of his career highlights came when he was flown to Nairobi to exclusively cover Jamaican dancehall star Spice before her visit to Kampala, a milestone that affirmed his growing credibility in the digital media space.

Beyond entertainment, Sean has worked with leading politicians and several of Uganda's biggest musicians, further expanding his portfolio. He is also part of singer Bebe Cool's media team, contributing to the artist's publicity and digital communication.

For Sean, the journey reflects the changing face of Uganda's entertainment industry, where consistency, creativity and social media can transform ordinary hustles into thriving careers.

What started with sourcing clothes from downtown arcades has evolved into a brand that commands interviews with presidents, music icons and international stars.

His story is a reminder that behind every viral moment is often years of unseen work—and sometimes, all it takes is one opportunity to change everything.
