Nine potential oil wells found in Butiaba as govt prepares for 98.3 billion litres

Nabbanja said the national oil company suspects that the Kasuruban area currently holds about 600 million barrels of crude oil. A barrel of crude oil is equivalent to 158.987lts of oil.

Dr Lyoidah Kiconco, a petroleum geoscientist and UNOC’s head of exploration and new ventures, explained that they have deployed some of the latest technologies to undertake the works.
