The Chief Executive Officer of MM Integrated Steel Mills (U) Ltd has commended Vision Group for unveiling Blend Advertising Agency, a platform creating a huge impact on brand awareness for respective companies.

According to Heramb Kumthekar, the agency’s top-notch mode of operation has greatly supported his company’s agenda to expand the customer base with noticeable results registered in just under the first three months of the contract signing.

He was speaking during a courtesy visit to Vision Group headquarters in Kampala, where he interacted with the company’s CEO, Don Wanyama, together with Lorraine Tukahirwa, the Head of Marketing and Communication.

“We are looking at a long-term committed relationship between Vision Group and MM Integrated Steel Mills (U) Ltd. We are happy with the partnership and support we have received so far,” Kumthekar noted.

He explained that their target is to expand their footprint within the Ugandan market and export markets like South Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Tanzania and Eastern part of Kenya.

“Over the last 15 years, the company has gone through an exponential growth under their Kiboko Mabati brand, in investment of over $15million to expand their Alu-zinc state-of-the-art plant. With profitability, they diversified their brand and product portfolio and introduced new products. All these were possible because we invested in people and technology, and have always cared for the environment and its sustainability,” Kumthekar said.

As part of the CSR program, He also disclosed that the Kiboko brand is looking to introduce a skills development programme in partnership with vocational training institutions to enable students to visit and acquire first-hand experience within the factory in Jinja.

Vision Group CEO Don Wanyama explained that the advertising platform, Blend Advertising, is built with a vision to offer seamless, data-driven and creative solutions to clients across sectors that want to grow their brand awareness.

I would like to implore my team to continue supporting your agenda of promoting locally made products, Buy Uganda Build Uganda. This partnership should continue, and we hope to work on projects such as supporting Cure Children’s Hospital in Mbale and also a Schools Reading Challenge.
